I’m Surrey, a New Haven-based theater maker originally from a "right to farm" community and an old mill town in Massachusetts. I write about expansive Queerness in rural America, with one foot planted in reality and the other planted in the mouth of some unrelenting, gurgling creature. it’s spring break, and now I have time to process the wonderful whirlwind that was NPL. I laughed! I cried! I made a new, expansive world with some amazing people! “Rest, Stop.”
